Today, heaps of books are being written on various computer and Internet related subjects. Unfortunately, many of these books are poorly written and poorly edited; the product writers and publishers trying to make some fast money on hot topics and buzzwords, making them seem even hotter than they really are.
However, this does not mean that there are no more good books being written today. But which are these good books? Where can you buy them?
In an effort to answer these questions, I became an associate of Amazon.com, a huge on-line book store which claims to list millions of books.
Since you probably do not feel like wading through their lists, I have made a selection for you, listing only books that have built a good reputation. I have also added short reviews, based on my own experience and other people's comments.
If a particular book interests you, simply click on its title to put it in your shopping basket at Amazon.com. Then hit your browser's back button to get back to JG's Book Selection and see if you may like another book as well. When you are done selecting books, confirm your order (if you wish) and the people at Amazon.com will ship the books to you wherever you are on this blue planet, at a sharp price.
Since Amazon.com is based in the USA, it might take several weeks to receive the books you ordered if you are living on another continent. Therefore, I have also become an associate of Amazon.co.uk, a company very similar to Amazon.com, but located in the United Kingdom. If you are living in Europe, you should order the books you want there. You will receive them in a week or so, even without requesting (and paying for) express delivery.
Books also make great gifts. When you buy a book from JG's Book Selection, you can have it wrapped in nice gift paper and you can add a personal gift message.
